Arggggggh I'm contemplating making my biggest ever expenditure on a bike yet! £1.4k on a cube ams pro !!

That's very little to spend on a complete bike compared to many folk on here. Some of peoples frames alone cost two, three, four times that much. You only live once.

Do it! I did on a Giant Anthem X4 and have no regrets (although I haven't had the bill yet ...). The most I've ever spent on a bike by far, but the best value too.
well I have just forked out ( 😉 )on (pre-order) the new 2011 F120 Fox Forks and a new Kinesis XCPro3 frame and new carbon cranks so...... Buy Buy Buy
there's no pockets in a shroud so go for it! just remember you don't want it you NEED it, therefore it's ok to spend money 😀

Spent a similar amount a couple of weeks ago on a Commencal Super 4. Fan-bloody-tastic. Get it bought.
don't sleep on it could be out of stock in the am.....
