bought some a few years ago and they just sat with the rest of my tyre collection, never thought i would get to use them till this week. they are the dogs b0ll0x, been out with them threee times in the last few days, riding and cornering at full speed on sheet ice, overtaking sleges on steep downhills, .

get some before the snow and ice finishes

Just absolutely amazing 8) 8) 8)

impulse purchase 2nd hand off here a few years ago, you can get them here
they may be expensive but if you dont use them on the road too much, i reckon they should last a good few winters
seriously soem of the looks you get from people expecting you to fall off and the thrill of riding on ice without a second thought is priceless 😆

I remember an old MBUK (c.1998-2002) that had a "grimetime" clinic on making your own snow tyres!!

Think they ran an article on the M.A.D. trials disply team playing ice-hockey on bikes at a local ice-rink!!

Nutters

I have some Nokian ones. Lovely they are too, but only really shine on slick ice.
