The Surly site doesn't say yay or nay and I want to pimp the Fatty. Any advice appreciated. I'll be going down the coastalkid split tube Ghetto route on my Fatty

Ran 120tpi flavoured ones for 6 months tubeless - never had any issue apart from when I fitted a Bluto and punctured within 2 miles of riding on rocky trails as the pressure was too low.

Aye, they go up tubeless fine, but its rim dependant as well.

Fine on Surly Rolling Darryls and Marge Lites, but for On One rims, you will probably have to build the rim up with foam and maybe even ghetto tubeless it.

Ta for that chaps. So ghetto tubeless and a bit of laminate underlay foam ala coastalkid seems to be the answer.

I've ghetto 24" tubelessed a Bud on a fatty rim. Seems to be holding up but was a pain to get up in the first place.

I have a pair nates setup tubeless on br710's. Had to get Slam69 to set up for me as I didn't have a compressor at the time. They popped the bead on one side with a tube then set the other bead with a compressor.
