Going to Ardrock to do the Sport on the Sunday (managed to wriggle out of the Marathon on the sat thankfully!)

Was planning on going Friday-Sun with Mrs O_H_H to make a weekend of it, just wondering if there is any non-event/race riding or loops that we could do on the sat while my mates are off doing the Marathon?

Cheers

There is the demo loop but that is quite short, there are load of bridleeays off it though. My oh will be doing stuff on sat while I’m racing think there are peeps organizing a ride.

There's loads - the enduro stuff is all off-piste and out of bounds but the normal bridleway loops will be available. There was a thread a week or so ago with suggestions.

A thread a week ago? I've more chance of winning the lottery than finding that in this forum!

If you do find it can you put a link here (though that’s not a lot easier to find)

I'm sort of definitely not racing on Sunday, more 'oh dear universe please let me get around this'.

Just looking to do a gentle pootle with Mrs O_H_H on the sat maybe just 10-15km or something to spin the legs and explore if any one else is interested in a gentle explore.

Just to resurrect this thread, if anyone is there on the Saturday and bored me and Ms O_H_H will be going for a bimble about which will be at a nice relaxed pace on a yet to be determined route once I've had chance to find one!

Of anyone has any route suggestions that would be grand.

The demo route isnt too bad... hour to hour and a half.

Failing that, pop over and see the guys in the Dales bike center... they do laminated routes and are always happy to help.
