I'm hoping to get a place. Done the last two Ard Rocks but away next year so can't make it. Looks like there's only the 1 event at Ard Moors is this correct?
Entries open at 6.30am, you have 25 minutes to enter up to 6 riders.
I see the price of camping is now £10 per night... Ard Rock 2015 it was a flat rate of £5.
Contemplating it, I'll be heading up alone if I do.

I can, quite easily. It's about ball park for a day out at a premier league match, but you're absolutely [i]guaranteed[/i] to be entertained, which you can't say about the footy. 😀
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that it isn't value for money.
I would even consider going to watch football. I'm an F1 fan, but that's probably never going to happen either!

I'll be trying to enter myself along with 3 mates, got entries to the 2017 ard rock Saturday event, so would be nice to do this too. Rode the ard rock on the sunday this year, was the best enduro event I've done.
The ard moors is on my old local stomping ground as I grew up near there, I did a few DH races up there in the mid-late '90's as part of the NAMBS series on the carlton bank DH course. From looking at some youtube footage it looks like one of the 2016 sections used a lot of the old track off the top of lord seat.

On the whole, it's not bad. Lots of people will miss out but that's always going to be the case. On the plus side, so long as you have one (or two) mates with ninja internetz you can get the whole gang entered and ride as a bunch of mates. Y'know, kind of the whole point.

Glad I was up early as well, didn't think it would be as popular as Ard Rock but perhaps entries are more limited.
There's only one race all weekend, as opposed to AR which has what, 4?, so demand is high for this too.
