Fat curious and keen to have a try. Should have done it when we were up in Aviemore . Anyone know anywhere that hires near the Tweed Valley, Alpine Bikes at GT didn't seem to have any.

Law Cycles in North Berwick?
IIRC the bike shop in North Berwick has them for rent, or speak nicely to Steve in I-cycles as he has a Rocky Mountain Blizzard. He also has a 650b+ Mondraker in the front shop just now if you're semi-fat curious.
Speak to Dave at Law Cycles North Berwick. Its a bit out of Edinburgh but.. you get access immediately to some great beaches, dunes, single track, coffee at Steampunk, cake at Falco and you may even bump into Guru Coasted at the same time.
Dave has a small fleet of Surley bikes, good to go.
