So the Attack 3x9sp twist shifters on my commuter are finally falling apart after many years of faultless service. I do like the ease of gripshift when commuting, so I thought I'd replace with a new set, but...
Can't find them for sale anywhere!!
Anyone know where I can get a (new) set, and if not whether there's any other options for 3x9 twist shifters on a Shimano system?

I know when I stopped working their Spokes Cycles in St Andrews had some left. If you phone there and ask for Gordon he will know.

I bought XO from Merlin for about £40 the pair. That and a new/2nd hand X7/9/0 9 speed rear mech might be an option for you, without wishing to stoke a religious debate I prefer the shifting and it seems to stay right for longer.
