Off to brecfa at the weekend, a mate's dad owns a couple of barns about 5 minutes away from brecfa.
so we have ridden the trails all over the years, all ways good fun. but wondered about wondering off the beaten path?

Don't be tempted by the long BW that stretches between Llansawel and Rhydcwmerau. Awful.

Depending upon how far you are prepared to travel, Mynydd Mallaen isn't far away. You can start/ finish the ride at Cwmrhaydr, Cilycwm.

A map is useful up there, sometimes a compass too.

That little red loop at Cwm Rhaeadr is a belter.

Doethie Valley loop is nearby:

Not sure if it deserves its Trail of the Year plaudits, but it's a nice natural loop to do if its been dry for a while.

Get in there quick, it's been dry here for quite a while now but rain is forecast later this week 🙁
