particulalry if you ride it with a 120m fork on it

I had a 2006 which I ran rigid unfortunately.
Not too sure what year you're looking at and even if geometries changed, but I found mine to be quite a short bike for it's frame size.
I have a 2006, with 100mm forks.
Love. It.

had spied last years 50% off wiggle, but a check the geo on the rm wesite and yes it does look short
oh well never mind
There is a lot of extension on the seat tube though, so you could possibly go up a size.
My was a 16.5" from memory and I had a 70mm stem on it.
I'm 5ft 7 and found it too short for me.
However everyone is different and you'd have to try one I suppose.
It was a fantastic bike to ride though, probably could have done with having 1/2 inch more on the top tube for me.
Mine's an 18.5" with rs reba's and a 90mm stem and lot's of seatpost showing. Handles ace and flies on singletrack.
I'm 6ft btw.
Love mine (and I'm also 6ft). It's short and snappy and at its best on twisty singletrack. Have 100mm forks on mine and reckon 120mm would lose some of the sharp handling.
I had a Hammer built up with 115mm Reba's and it was fine, plenty of sag on the fork but the only problem with the handling was some wheel lift on really steep climbs. Great geometry on the bikes, really chuckable through the singletrack and great on the steep teechnical downhills.

I bought one of those frames (09 half price off wiggle) for Mrs Fascist as they had a small and she's a canuk.
The good;
The frame finish is really quit beautiful, much better than the photos give credit for
Ride is great, whippy but firm steel ride
handles nicely (with 100mm fork)
The not so good;
For an 853 frame it's not light. 2kg in small
Seatpost dia is 26.8 (weirdos)
depends on you;
The TT is pretty short. I started her on a 15mm layback post and 90mm stem and she seems happy with that, which surprised me a little, I was expecting to be getting a shorter stem
At half price it's a beautifully finished, if not very light, old school style steel frame with modern design (disc only, sus corrected). Certainly I would resent paying MSRP for it though, given the options out there
Mrs Fascist is made up because it's pretty, rides well and has maple leaves on it
