I want some drifts for hope hubs. They don't yet do any to fit the pro 2 and pro 2 EVO freehub bodies.

Wonder if there might be enough interest for it to be worth someone running a few off.

can't imagine you'll need tool steel for a drift for interference fit bearings on a bike hub, aluminium alloy would be sufficient, that's what the proII ones are made from (I think, off to shed to check...)

I'll sort you something out if you send me a sketch and some sizes. I'll have something tool steel-ish lying around.

Whats wrong with a blind bearing puller for removal and a socket of the correct size for replacing? Its what I use and takes about 2 minutes for a front bearing set and a few minutes longer for the rears?

Yep, sockets here too, perfect really. If I was going to make up fitting tools I'd add a wee detente to keep it centred in the bearing for easy use but otherwise there's nothing to improve on.

Sockets work at a pinch but a proper tool has a squarer edge and is actually the right size rather than just being close.

By the way, if anyone is interested, Bullandbladder sorted me out and they worked a treat. Worth giving him a shout if you're after anything similar.
