Does it have much stock? was gonna go look see if they had any frames instock that i might like.
mark the owner, i think is 1 miserable ****er.
always puts me off using them.
i have used them in the past for forks n stuff.
wont use em in a hurry again.
mark is not perhaps misserable but hard to read, hence is he listening when your talking to him, (eyes looking everywhere except at you).
there is a girl in there that is good to talk with. well stocked shop yet quite high priced, but try some bartering.
you could try Sowerby brothers cycles in Mirfield, not to far from bike shed/ very good shop with great staff. cannondale, specialized, fisher, Turner, intence dealers.
looking for a cove frame wondered if Bikeshed had em in cos im sik of useless sites that just let you pay without telling you if the stock is actually in or not!
Used them loads of times, very helpfull, 2 Stinky juniors, loads of clothes and they were responsable for Abigales respray. Give them a ring
Tracey
ive allways found them ok but very expensive compared to others .
i would allways call them first as it is quite a small shop but a tardis inside.
They always have cove frames when I've been in there. It's in New Mill though as far as I know, not Huddersfield.
I thought Bikeshed was in Scissett, it's in the Hudds area but far out, nearer Denby Dale. I've popped in a few times for energy bars and the like. Remember seeing a fair number of Cove frames there, although if it was me I'd buy a 2nd hand one as they're not exactly cheap (I paid £140 for a decent 2nd hand Stiffee frame, which I'm very impressed with by the way).
soz, you're right it's in Scissett, I knew it was one of those towns I drive through from Holmfirth to Wakey.
anyone know where james from that shop ended up? went out there a couple of times to have a ride with him and jezz. lost touch now tho.
