As narrow/wide rings don't seem to be as foolproof as I had thought I'm in the market for a top guide. MRP AMG come recommended but I don't need any sort of bash and the 1.X is half the weight and half the price, in BB mount at least. My bike has ISCG05 mounts which the AMG uses but the 1.X is only clamp or BB mount, any downsides to these?
Any other recommendations welcome, cheers now.

BB. Solid little unit. Looked at the superstar option but my friends one would seem to be made from cheese.

I've got one. Very happy with it, never dropped a chain (unramped FSA chainring)

I had a BB-mounted one before getting a n/w (I've not had a problem with dropped chains, yet). Worked very well.
