Hi everyone im contemplating buying a steel pro 2 free hub, does it make much difference?

I used to have one.

it was better in better in terms of not getting mashed up by the cassette or SS cog.

not to fused about the extra weight, its the fact my alu one keeps getting mashed up :\

I'm considering this because of the difficultly in getting my cassette off. The few grams extra is not really an issue is it?

i wouldnt think so :\ its about 50g difference i think ive had more than 50g in mud on my chain before ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm using one & notice no difference, until i come to take the cassette off then its much easier.

I'm not a weight weenie & for me its more important to have strength than anything else given my size!
