In my quest to carry a bike in the car without turning the insides into a field I have found this:

Anyone heard anything about them or used them? Not much, if any, info on the web apart from roofbox's website.

So far it is between one of these things or a DHB/CRC bike bag for about the same price.

Unfortunately £200 to get one fitted does not work for me at the moment!

Nor does the extra drag, reduced security, etc work for me 😉

I have one for carrying crap in the car to the dump - works great through probably a bit overkill for carrying a bike.

Looks a neat idea but I'm happy enough with the giant tarpaulin I got from B&Q for a fiver, easily big enough to line the inside with plenty left over to wrap around the wheels etc.

My g/f uses covers from these guys Hatchbag - managed to keep 2 car (current & previous) 'in' a reasonable state considering she has a horse & a very hairy dog. I just bought a cheap estate instead & don't worry about it

Why not get a £6.50 tent from B&Q and put it up in your car?

Looks ideal for limiting visibility through the back of the car, nice one!

I'm a bit lucky that mine can have the back seats permanently down, so I've lined it with some foam stuff which I think is some sort of floor padding, plus a big bit of carpet, still comes out of the car easily and protects bike and car perfectly. Cost zero... Oh, plus a £3 big tarp from B&Q for really wet days. Sorted.
