[cue paranoia] They've got an old/obsolete bottom bracket I want, but I've never heard of them.

Anyone vouch for them?

Cheers

Glad to hear it! Don't suppose you guys can source a 73mm shell ES71 octalink BB?

or one of the old school XTR octalink BBs?

Cheers

It's where the Nottingham branch of Evans send you if you want something slightly obscure. I suspect they'll be spot on for an odd bottom bracket.

Just looked on Madison Ian... can't seem to get 71's. Odd.

I've shopped in store without issue a couple of times but with them being local, I've never had any call to mail order. Been there a lot of years so they're not fly by night.

Looks like a decent shop. They had some smart looking kids racing BMXs in the window, last time I was passing.

OK, thanks guys, they're obviously legit!

TBC, cheers, I looked at Madison as well, they don't do 71s or the XTR versions, need to stock up if I want to keep my antique cranks running...

Real business, nice guys but not particularly cheap. Used to sponsor local BMX racing, and as mentioned above, they've been there donkeys years.
