Are these any good - any experience - thing of using with XT.

yep, i got some off ebay. I got the non-coated ones with a saw shape for the commuter. quite light and work fine. Much cheaper than most of the manufacturers spares too.They rubbed a bit to start with but have stopped now, may have just been the pads bedding in.
They seem to get hotter quicker, but not a problem on the commuter, and in fact may even stop the pads wearing away so quickly on the MTB in the winter?
