Have been looking for a helmet mount and was wondering if it looks better than it is?

I've used the Twofish Lockblock, which looks exactly the same but comes with both sides of the mount either inline (like the one linked to) or perpendicular. It's useful to take a look where you want to put it on your helmet to figure which one you would need. I have a Giro Hex and the linked one wouldn't work for me.

Otherwise, it works great. As a helmet mount it's secure when holding my Fenix torch. It can also be used on the handlebars in an emergency, but it has a tendency to bounce around a little over rough terrain.

thats fine, as per warcow I have the 2 fishlock block with the fittings @ 90 degree, which I found more useful - it depends on your helmet design though.
