In need of a new headset so was thinking of popping in a works components -1 degree, has a 13mm external bottom cup so it slackers it out by about 1.5 degrees it says.
Any others I should be looking at ?
Any probs removing the cups from the carbon frame?

also remember that you'll loose reach and TT length as well. Your frame may not be warrantied with an angle set in it either so best check.

have you ended up with a bike thats on the wrong end of their manufacturing tolerances?

If it breaks I'll remove before I return it!! Anyway canyon factory team run em.
The manufacturing tolerances mentioned a certain mbr magazine was a load of bollox, can't believe they read the 66 (+1.5 degrees) on the canyon spec sheet and thought was a manufacturing tolerance when it's the +1.5 degrees you get from putting it into climb mode on the shapeshifter. Someone must have got their arse kicked for going to print with that!
I'd stopped buying the magazine before that as it constantly prints crap anyway.

Best I can with a phone app, reads 66 ish. How can you manufacture frames +-1.5 degrees, unless the jigs/moulds vary. I'm pretty sure the Germans know what they are doing.

I had a WC angleset on my previous bike and it made a difference but the bike was a bit steep to start with. Might be a bit expensive if you don't like it though.
