its on my list of possible new bikes. any opinions?
I have no useful input, never having ridden one but there's one in my LBS and something about the way it looks just appeals to me.

pinhead, how long you had it? what kind of riding?
I want one. Badly. I ride a Cube Fritzz and it's bloomin ace.
However... I realise the linkage etc is different so you can't really compare the two bikes, but I have one problem with my Fritzz: It's so 'euro' that they've tried (and failed) to save weight everywhere. For example my Fritzz has Ti bolts, which is pretty ridiculous as all they're good for is shearing (mid race 😡 ). It's stuff like that, where they've tried to make it lighter, and just managed to make it less reliable. Bit of a pain.
That said, for rad as heck bikes at crazy cheap prices, with sexy as components you can't really beat Cube.
ive had it for a month now and love it yes handles nice on the steep tech stuff and on the downhill runs,thats what i got it for and wanted somet what would still pedal ok for the ups. a nice bike what isnt like a full on downhill bike..
got an orange5 too. but i could still use the cube for doing what i do on the 5 too.
