tried all the usual suspects but it looks like Maxxis is having supply problems in the UK at the moment..

Advice in other Maxxis threads has been to use the French or German online shops instead. Seems everyone has had good experiences ordering this way.

Tried to buy from numerous german shops. Failed miserably. Didn't try French shops though. Had to go Schwalbe Hans Dampf instead.
Its crap, 'sorry sir 26" frame isn't an option, it's 27.5 only now'
Ok I'll bite the bullet and buy the 27.5 frame/bike. Got any tyres for that? No sorry, got loads of 26" though.
I've been doing through this dilemma recently. 27.5 Minions seem to be hard to come by. Found some on French and German sites, but the right width and compound proved to be a nightmare to find... so I went for some Schwalbe tyres instead.

Been searching for 2.3 DHF and DHR II's for a while but cant find them anywhere
There are some Minions on probikeshop.fr but not all specs.
I bought a DHF and an HRII a couple of weeks ago - arrived in under a week.
they only have the dhf

the other ones they have are the proper DH spec 2 ply versions
I bought one from a shop in Australia via eBay. When it arrived I had got 2 for one! Winner.
I emailed the new distributor last week and they got back to me:
"We have recently taken on the Maxxis distribution for the UK and as of this week we should start to receive our latest stock. Shop back orders will then be fulfilled.
Maxxis tyres can be purchased through your local dealer or from your local cycle store. Details of your nearest store can be found at www.extrauk.co.uk."
Showing as July for stock, not sure if that's tomorrow or in 3 weeks time.

Pearce Cycles (Ludlow) had a load of minions at their race the other week. Not sure which version though.
I've got one I'd consider selling: 27.5 2.3 maxterra tr exo. Done 90 miles. Just came on a new to me bike I've just bought.
