Hey,

just noticed my old headset looks like it's on it's last legs so wondering if this headset is any good?

http://www.rutlandcycling.com/107637/products/fsa-orbit-mx-sealed-headset-1-1-8-inch-bike-cycle.aspx?origin=pla&kwd=&currency=GBP&gclid=CjwKEAjw9qafBRCRiYrL4-fpuFkSJACvocQ103hvdpTnstqm2uXjHmBDj_G0nHSWTNh6yK3mlgtOchoCFBbw_wcB

It's for the second bike so don't really want to spend a load of cash on it, but want something pretty good that will last ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, it's for an old GT Avalanche so just checking it will fit too ? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Cheers

Rob

Just get one of these -

I've had one in my Cove since 2007. Still smooth.

[edit]Unless you're after pretty colours... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Good headset that (and the Orbit- not very different) Used to have one in an old bike. Cane Creek do some well priced options too. No point in spending more on a headset imo, I've got a Hope one, it's basically the same as my Cane Creeks, right down to interchangable bearings and crown races.

Have one which has been through several frames now, one of the best value for money EC headsets out there.
