Hi, the other half's hifi bearings have gone. I remember from an old GF sugar that the bearings were a pain to replace as they were partially bonded to the frame with loctite. I can pick up a set of bearings for 50 quid but should I simply get the LBS to do them. I have done the bearings on a Maverick frame but that is a dawdle.
Anyone done a HiFi before?

I replaced the frame bearings on my remedy and would not wish that job on anyone. I even had all the tools. I imagine a hif and remedy would be similar so I'd be tempted to let a shop do it.

That was what I was worried about. They have however lasted a reasonable time. Looks like I will need a quote from the LBS. Ta
