I just had a quick spin on a mates fugly pointless schwinn lowrider and really REALLY got it..
I'm in the process of building a hackbike and I've been inspired and reminded of a strangely alluring Cannondale beast with ape bars that some guy from Oz built and displayed here..
can anyone point me in the right direction..? It was a 'show me your....' thread of some description.

I have been contemplating something similar myself - surely needs a super long fork as well. about 18" over. 16" wheel in the back
well I reckon with a wire basket on the front in front of the headtube.. I should be able to satisfy my inner Hells Angel and have a shopping bike quirky enough to deter the theiving chav types and fun enough for dashing around town and beyond...
None of you will look as cool as this
