One of those work trips you never seem to mind (part from 24hrs of travel) with a trip to Hawaii next week followed by some days on Maui. Has anyone biked/rented/been guided there?
Long time ago - did the roll down Haleakala at Sunrise. Still fun but in no way MTB.
There was some on offer though near Lahaina - the offroad waterfalls route up the Island to the Sugar plantations on the tip. Did it by jeep/hike - not certain it would necessarily be a great MTB experience..

Lots of big lava rocks - they hold the world Xterra Triathlon Champs there, a couple of friends used to go.
Singletrack 84 Tony although it doesn't mention bike hire or guiding strangely.
Yep I read Singletrack 84 (that is what got me thinking) but without hire and probably hire+guiding it's not going to happen.
