Just moved down to Ashley Heath, Ringwood from Wiltshire and wondered if there was anyone local to show me the trails?

Currently exploring the forest trails, Moors Valley singletrack and Watchmoor Woods north shore stuff.

Check out NewForce MTB group. Met a few of them and they seem sound. Also there are regular Lordswood rides posted on here although this is a little further east.

Not local, but the parents have a place in New Milton so I do spend a bit of time in the area. I spent Sunday riding around Watchmoor Woods, need to explore the single track in Moors Valley more.

There's UK Bike Park in Blandford.

I live the other side of the New Forest, and ride with Newforce. We've done some great stuff over towards Cranborne Chase, there's good riding from Breamore and around Salisbury, plus the Purbecks not far. And of course Moors Valley and the Forest on your doorstep.

Can send you some routes if you like.

Thursday nights we do an all welcome night ride from Lordswood in Southampton at 7. Look for the post in the bike forum sometime after lunch every Thursday.

Get in touch with the Dorset Rough Riders. We do plenty of local trails. Check out the rides list on the webpage.

Thanks all, will have a better look at NewForce & Dorset Rough Riders, need to decide which will give me local riding buddies for ad hoc rides as well as organised club rides.

Haven't ventured over the other side of the A31 yet & into the New Forest, but will have a look at a map.

Any routes gladly received - thanks.
