Hello,
I have broken the wee lever thingy on the side of my old Dura-Ace brake caliper, the one which opens the brake up to let you take the wheel out.
Seems a bit daft (and expensive) to buy a whole new caliper, does anyone know where I can buy just the wee lever? Google isn;t being terribly helpful

Top row, left hand side for the avoidance of doubt.
Or, anyone got a broken caliper I can nick some parts off for a few quid?
Cheers
which model of brake 7600,7700,7800 ?
I think it's 7700, not really sure, I'll have a look when I get back.
SJS have one for a 7900, with a few other nuts and bolts, but £30?! Better off getting a new caliper off fleabay. Or putting up with a broken lever...
There's an Ultegra one for tenner, would they be interchangeable? Look visually similar.
Cheers
Check the shimano website, they should have a tech doc that breaks down and numbers every single bit, but as you've found out there's no guarantee it will be a cost effective replacement.
EDIT: Here we go here's the parts list for a 7700 caliper, they list it as Y-8FA 98100 "Quick release assembly", similar to what you found for a 7900. You won't be able to order just a plastic lever from madison.
