Hi
I have a set of magura mt8 carbon.
They are leaking from seals. Struggling to find uk contact for warranty.
The contact in Leicester is no longer there.
Thanks in advance.

Where did you buy them from?

I *think* they went back to distribution from Magura in Germany.

That side of things isn't your problem though, the retailer should be your point of contact.

I used the email address on the Magura website. Had a set sorted out in the UK in December.

Have you tried emailing magura to ask?

Have they changed again?

http://www.bikebiz.com/news/read/magura-re-establishes-direct-sales-office-in-the-uk/019902
says they're re-establishing a UK distro centre

Ring the German number (using Skype if you're worried about he call costs) and see what they say?

Ping this guy a message
https://www.linkedin.com/in/tony-barton-7aa50970

He is supposed to be the head honcho of Sales and Servicing for Magura UK.

Sorry second hand, but still within the 5 year warranty.
I just don't have proof of purchase.

Unlike cars, warranty generally doesn't transfer with change of ownership with bikes so you'll likely be relying on a bit of goodwill.

(Tony is a decent chap so hopefully he'll try and help you out)

I contacted them through their website, my MT8 wasn't holding pressure, sent the brake to their workshop and they sent me a new one after a week. Great service

Just in case this comes up in a search.

Magura gave me excellent after-sales service after I broke my brakes through ham-fisted idiocy.

I'll be buying their products again.

Interesting that Tony's back with Magura, he was certainly dang good when we dealt with him for Magura years ago.

Glad all's sorted.
