Hi,
I as looking at this http://www.prudentialridelondon.co.uk/The_Events/Prudential_RideLondon-Surrey_100.htm which looks great but 100 miles long. Does anyone know of anything similar suitable for young families, maybe 30 miles cycling on traffic free roads?
Thanks for any pointers,
Mnbv
Try Sky Rides. Some city events on closed roads, but they also run family friendly rides.

There is an event the day before.
Done a few of the sky rides, great for little ones, loads of attraction but distances are only a few miles.
Still worth looking out for though, they are well organised
Blenheim sportive day opens grounds to bikes. Nice day out. Not a long route though
Not really road cycling as such but certainly traffic free! You can ride round Donington Park race track some evenings this year, unlimited laps. Take a look at the circuit website www.donington-park.co.uk
