I'd like to lower my 2009 Rebas from 120 to 110mm.
Is there anyway of changing the order of the internals currently in the fork leg to reduce it by 10mm, or would I need a 10mm travel spacer?
If so where can you get them from?
Cheers
You can get travel spacers, but I think they're 15mm long.
Don't see why you can't chop one down to 10mm though.
Try t'interweb or TF tuned or summit like
The 2 spacers that came with the forks are both 22mm (presumably 20mm reducers?) Have emailed TF tuned, just wondered if anybody knew an answer today as not likely to get reply from TF until tomorrow.
Did think about taking a hacksaw to one - I'll wait and see if available and how much.
Cheers
yes you can, I did the same thing with my rebas. I got my spacer with my Sids.
I don't have a spare else I'd send you one but some folk on here might have one.
Bump
Got a couple of spacers with my Revelations- don't know why, as they're u-turn/travel adjust versions. I'll check the size tonight if you like, should fit Rebas too.
i bought oem rockshox revs and needed the same 10mm spacer to get them to 140mm.
They definitely make them, and i ended up having to buy one from my LBS. They charged me £5 for just the one spacer though, so hopefully you'll find someone that will donate or sell a bit cheaper.
Cheers voodoo-rich, if you do have 1 going spare I'd happily pay for it.
Please can you check for me, ta.
Got 2 of the 20mm spacers with my Rebas so if anyone wants to swap a 10mm for a 20mm then I'd be up for that.
Cheers Guys
