People keep saying that to me, but I regularly use scottish notes all over the west of england and never even get a raised eyebrow!

it was for a little bit of comic effect, they do accept it but quite often you need to assure them it's legal tender....I wouldn't offer them some of the Clydesdale bank notes though - do they still exist?

How is it you tit? I am asking someone to pay with a credit or debit card and i will send cash to there paypal from my paypal bike fund? NEXT!!
