It's a Saracen raw, from approx 98-99.
Sadly i must inform you it is a classic BSO
Saracen's early attempts at moving from really nice bikes (remember the classic 'Kili' range?) to cheap mass-market full sus - in this case that proven piece of design excellence, the steel-framed URT suspension system... 😉
That's about 1999, cost about £300 and weighed about 2.6 tons.

Bought it new for £500 would you believe! and yes it does way the same as my car... Kept me fit for that exact reason hehe.
Praying eBay does some magic and gets it shifted... :s
there's one of those in my garage, it's my wee brothers and it's an absolute peach. BOMBER EXTREME RIMS, for EXTREME USE ONLY. And a big sticker on the frame that says FOR XC USE ONLY. So EXTREME XC USE ONLY? 18.8kg. It's a Raw 2 Team rather than just a Raw but there doesn't seem to be any difference at all from the Raw.
If I ever put it back together I'm taking it to glentress
