The team that I declined to race for has come up with a wheeze- one of the team members has a temperature pushing 40C and so says he's unlikely to race so want me to race.
My wife won't let me go if I drive myself, and I've not said yes yet anyway, but is anyone heading up there from Livingston or Edinburgh tomorrow after work (4.30-5pm, possibly a smidge earlier?) and has room for me, a bike, a spare set of wheels and a bag of clothes?

I’d have thought the Strathpuffer would be just the job to bring that temperature down.
