Long shot this, but has anyone who is selling a bike on the buy/sell forum, had a possibly dodgy email yesterday or today with regards to buying your bike and the buyer sending their own courier to collect? I have more detail than this but I'm reluctant to go into further detail without confirmation.

Just wondered if I was the only one or if I'm being paranoid.....

surely that's better, as soon as it is collected it's not your responsibility.

Yep, I got one this morning too. Michael Malo? So obviously a scam. The only thing missing was a reference to a Nigerian army colonel.

Not had the email (but not selling anything anyway) but it's a commonish scam, as you'll have no proof of postage so they can claim back through paypal when "it doesn't arrive"
