I've almost convinced myself the altitude won't immediately turn the frame to dust, I mean, I think there's carbon parts used in aircraft, actually, I'm not great with flying as it is....
I'm more worried of the baggage handlers throwing it into the back of the hold first then piling a boardings worth of crap on top of it tbh, any problems?
I need to get a couple of those spacers they shove between the dropouts I'm thinking.
You'll void your warranty. I mean have you ever seen anyone fly with a carbon bike? It's obvious not to! I mean these things break left, right and centre. You'll just end up having to buy a new one when you land, and if you buy another carbon one, when you come back too!
Just pack it properly and you'll be fine, cardboard, pipe lagging, bubble wrap. take rear mech off etc etc
Mine exploded as it got to the airport, the handlers didn't even get a chance to break it. Clearly afraid of flying.
*Runs to get crabon user guide manual*
Tbh I thought I'd prepared it for the worst by wrapping layers and layers of gaffer tape around the frame before I rode it for the first time, I paid particular attention to the bottom bracket area, as you would..
Where will the crab sit?
What is the road bike frame made of?
DrP
It's made from Crabon! Like all the fastest bikes at crits,
The user manual gives no mention of max altitude height,
so hopefully that's one box ticked.

I laughed....... Out loud.
I took mine in one of those plastic bike box thingys, expensive but good for peace of mind....
