the old one I’ve had on my commuter has finally given up the ghost so I’m looking for a replacement. Don’t really want to spend more than £75 for wheel and shifter (ideally all set up as I find them a faff)
anyone?

I assume you mean Alfine? If so I'm pretty sure I've got an 8 speed one kicking about that I could sell you with the shifter attached. I'd just need to check the condition though.

Sorry yes, alfine! As long as it’s not as grindy and wobbly as mine it’ll be an improvement
