For that money your better off buying a more mainstream brand that uses Yamaha or Bosch motors...
Better chance of ongoing support if anything went wrong.

They look awful, similar money as well known brands from a reputable bikeshop so I’d support your local decent bikeshop

This is one of the problems today. Over the last 3 or 4 years hundreds of Ebike companies have formed and all touting the same low spec, mass imported frame with hub motors. Basically its a Ebso.

For the money you're looking to spend there ,theres better at Focus or Cube, or even Raleigh which is usually a bit less money. External battery means she can take it into work with her and charge it at the companies expense.

Raleigh seem to be sticking with Bosch, which is probably as  good sign.
