Yep, we went in the continuing attempts to find a new FS bike for MrsP. It was a Giant and Spesh day, but it looked like they had a fair range of their bikes. Hardly muddy at all, only one splattery section but there was loads of fire road on the demo route.

Went to try and test a Giant Hardtail for a friend......
" Do have any Hardtails here ? "...........eh......no mate......
Excellent news !
........................Off on my bike then.

Course was good , apart from the lethal bridge ( wet on a corner at the bottom of a slope )
without any ' Chicken Wire ' on !

Sounds like it would have been a good day out...even better without the mud baths. Guess it would have been better with more single track though.

Why worry about mud - were you expected to clean the demo bike after using it ?

what's the point of "testing a hardtail for a mate"?
