Bit of routine maintenance over the weekend, the cassette was a bit tight on the Hope Pro 2 Evo freehub and when I got it off I noticed a cracked running the full length of the freehub down one of the slines.

Just awaiting the response from the shop and shall no doubt be testing Hope legendary warranty department.

Anyone else done the same or is it a one off?

Yup and I won't be alone in responding. But yes their response is usually brilliant.

I've had exactly the same with a pro 2 evo hub, crack started at the pawl and ran the full length of the freehub. Was replaced foc by hope.

Yes mine was cracked on inspection. I Emailed who in return emailed me a returns form. There was a shiny new one on my door mat 2 days later. Top service.

Yep, twice. Both replaced without issue.

Wish they'd do a limited run of titanium ones.

I've had a Hope XC Ti freehub crack along its length, so I wouldn't put all your faith in Ti either tbh.

Think it'd be cheeky to ask for a replacement stainless steel one?

+1 though it's still working ok, held together by the cassette...

Is the alternative steel or stainless steel?
