OK, bare with me. I have a 68mm bb shell o my moots, ive taken delivery of some nice eewings all road cranks. Ive read a the installation instructions for both the cranks and the chris king BB and im still a little confused. None of the instructions state to use shell spacers only spindle spacers but if I don't, there is still a gap too big for the preload adjuster to take up. I need to use shell spacers to do this and if I do, I just concerned the chainline will be off.
Has anyone fitted these cranks to gravel bikes and if so, did you use shell spacers?
