Just seen a bike being advitised that I sold 2 years back, come up for sale again.
Always regreted selling it, but needed the cash at the time.
Now got itchy fingers to buy it back again.
Just wonder if anyone else has done this 😉
I sold one back to the original owner, it was just too small for me as much as I loved it I knew the right thing to do was sell it back.
while driving ive seen an older bloke riding my 1991 explosif(def mine as it has a silver flexstem and onza ski ends), im on the look out for him as ill make him an offer! the first bike that really made sense.
twice. sold my old KHS to a mate's dad when I (and bikes) moved on to better things. Bought it back after 10 years and is now the commuter.
To replace the KHS I bought a Chas Roberts, which was rubbish but gorgeous. Sold it to a mate's girlfriend because it was rubbish, bought it back a year or two later because it was gorgeous. Then sold it because it was rubbish.
Waiting on my brother getting shot of my 92' GT Timberline.
**** knows why I want it but I do. I must have it. I must.
Yes years ago. A Saba Viner road bike Columbus SL with early Dura Ace and Mavic SSC bits.
Beautiful light metalic green frame with spade/clubs/diamonds/hearts cut outs.
my orbit road bike, she is like the local hooooar, all my mates have owned it at some point...! sell it in the winter buy it back in spring.
And this Gios. It was my race bike for 92/93 sold it at the end of the 1993 season. And got it back August 2009 for £20, actually for nowt as I serviced the guys Mountainbike.

Rode it and it was dreadfull, or rather the old kit was. Sold all the parts and now having the frame restored to Gios blue.
See that saddle, the Vetta Ti bloody ace and although it's scuffed badly it's now on my race cross bike.
I would be tempted to buy my old iO back as it was a one off colour and I miss it.
I miss my Kona Stinky. If I saw it again I'd def put an offer in.
Not quite but sold my 09 chameleon frame only to realise i couldnt live with out it. Replaced it with an identical one from the same shop 6 months later. That was an expensive lesson in "never sell your chameleon"
Kind of... Did a grand tour of the Pyrenees (sp?!) when I was but a callow youth, on a fully rigid Lavadome. Swapped it a year or so afterwards for a brand new, shiny aluminium Carrera.
Never thought about it much until a Hahanna came up on ebay a few years back - same everything (paint job, foot-long stem), slightly cr@pper parts. Got it for £50 + delivery and now use it for pootling about on.
Can't beat a bit of nostalgia, especially when it's cheap!
Sold my Kona Jake when I moved jobs and went from weekly to monthly payment in arrears (ie a basically a month without payment).
I'd quite like to buy it back, or buy a new one to replace it. Cross bikes make so much sense!
I sold my RC200 to a mate a couple of years ago on the understanding that I would get first refusal if he ever sells it on .... I live in hope that he will!
Yes, My Azonic Saber, sold it on here and bought it back on ebay
My first real bike, an Orange Clockwork. Sold to a pal and bought back about 5 years later.
Merlin Works 4.0. Sold on here and then bought back when he caught the Jones bug.
Still waiting for my old Orange Vit T to come back to me. The biggest regret of my biking career was selling that.
Yeah. Sold my Langster and wanted it back almost immediately. I just missed it when it came back up for sale. Ditto my original pompino.
I sold my brother my RM Instinct and often consider buying it back. Don't have the dosh though 🙁
I sold my prophet on here last summer. I'd like first refusal if he ever sells it.
Sold my Klein Attitude to my friend's husband...when they got divorced, I bought it back off her. That was a few years ago but funnily enough she now wants to buy it back off me.
