As in the title, I have had a few demo's on 18 and 20 inch 5's and find myself right between the two!

I'm 6ft 2ish and find that stand over is great on the 18 but the top tube feels a bit short whereas the 20 has a good roomy top tube but really limited stand over and seems way bigger all round!

Would love a compromise/half wayer between them like the 17 that was introduced for people having a dilemma between 16/18inch frames!

no, but I wish they had done a 21" I'm 6'2 too and I find the 20" about big enough at the back but could do with a bit more top tube but not as much headtube as a 22" gives.

Seems the 22 inch is hard to find even if you did like it: http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/anyone-seen-a-22-orange-five

Not too bad, they had a 22" in their demo fleet this year. I took it out, really liked it and bought one.

It's a monster frame! The whole head tube/down tube interface is massive. Usually hate how bikes scale up, the top sizes look like the smaller ones but with a stupidly long seat tube, the Five actually manages to pull it off though.

Have you contacted Orange direct? They may make you a "Strange" prototype if you ask nicely and are prepared to commit to it with out riding first.

sure whay not! ๐Ÿ˜€

But in honesty, I nearly bought a 20' Five but would of loved its a tiny bit smaller so 19 would be great.

But I instead bought a 29er and would just buy the new Orange Gyro in 29in form.

Sssimon I'm pretty sure there are a fair few riders in the same situation! If orange made the 19 they could corner the 'awkward inbetweener' height market.

I bought the 18 inch as I felt the 20 was too big but now having to sell as I find it to cramped when climbing. 19 inch would be perfect im 6 foot 1. Come on orange get your act together obviously a market out there for a 19 inch
