demo bikes are cool ๐
Aye, I was there. Didn't demo anything as I was too lax about getting registered, but we went out for a ride in the area and swung by to have a look.
There was some tasty tackle there; the Pronghorn bikes looked fast, all the Lapierres were highly desirable and the carbon Blur made me get a tent-on in my shorts. Felt a bit sorry for the Carter family as no-one seemed to have taken out any of the Paces when we called in, and they looked the business.
The highlight of the day for me, however, was getting checked out by a pretty lady rider. Carbon bikes, they're the joyed-up XR3i of the cycle world ๐
I was there but not for the demo day. Had a quick look around, did Go Ape in the morning which was fun then went for a great ride in the lovely weather. Had a nasty spill off a big drop off and grazed my legs and broke off my propedal lever though.
i was there ๐ lappire were fun as norco where there were quite a few taking paces out and around the track they set up was a bit knearly long uphill climb followed by a very rocky dh decent 45mins my ass
Where did the test route go then? Not on the North Face Trail?
errr.... i dunno ive never been there befroe but the you went up left of the visitors center and past where the cafe and shops are thru a gate up a track, then onto some rocky singletrack up thru the forest for like 20mins onto the fire road at the top along that for about 3miles and start dropping down the rocky track onto the long steep rock(wet) decent i think it went onto the bottom of the north face trail? dunno as ive said ive never been on it before and google maps are shite
