Just wondering like.

Has anyone had a go at mounting a nutted caliper to the central seat stay stub in the 5-piece rear seatstay on a pomp? Is it close enough? If it is will ostriches burn and die?
hmm Im thinking its got to be too far away from the rim...

Anyone got any pics of the back end of a pomp? Im away from home at the moment and cant go and check for myself.

You can get deep drop dual pivot brakes, I think a pair I have are 75 mm drop! They obviously flex more though. I would want some sort of sleeve place inside the hole you drill ideally to spread the force about. Brazed in an idea world.

That's a less retardation idea - unless it's for mounting a set of HS77s on a 27" rim.

Blast, now I'll have to try it.

BTW you can get clamp on mounts - they're used to put calliper brakes on track bikes.
