Bit of advice needed guys.
I need to fit a new piston on a hayes stroker as it just doesn't return.
Got the kit with dead easy instructions.
Push piston in,lube up the barrel, work it loose and the piston should pop out as there's a spring behind it.
Yer right ๐Ÿ™
This thing just will not pop out as it,s still a bit stiff inside the barrel.
This is after an hour of trying.
Can you push it out from the inside if i strip it down...
Help me STW...your my only hope ๐Ÿ™‚

I used to look after 20 bikes with strokers....19 of them ended up with sticking master pistons. The hose attaches at a 45 degree angle so you can't do the stick a spoke down it trick.I ended up bodging a piece of hose connected to a floor pump....and firing the piston across the workshop at about mach 3 when the needle hit 100psi!!Enjoy ๐Ÿ˜€

By the power vested in me i,ve done it ๐Ÿ˜€
Brake fluid and a syringe pumped from the caliper with the tubing zip tied on and one hell of a lot of pressure..
Thanks Rorschach for your pressure idea...
