Generalising across manufacturers doesn't work: Giro Xen fits me fine, Giro Xar doesn't. Just so happens the cheaper Giro Hex is also comfy so when I need a new helmet that's probly what I'll be getting.

Well, Giro then cos they're all the same - just different prices/colours.

Rob, have you got an on-one helmet, if yes fair play, if not then leave alone

I bought the £20 one today, fits a treat, looks very like a giro hex. Very comfy. Both helmets (enduro as well) are very big, so watch out for the mushroom effect

I got the "trail sport" in the larger size after the thread on them the other day it's a wee bit mushroom like as I'm towards the bottom end of the size range but it fits about as well as my other (giro) lids. Only used it a couple of times but it seems pretty good so far.

Bought a trail sport too. Usually have a giro Hex and the OO seems to fit nice and snug. Put back in the box for Christmas for not tried it outside yet.
