What's it like? Looks family friendly.
I went and looked at the mtb course a couple of years ago. Struck me as very pro cyclo-cross, basically a few tracks around some fields and a bit of woodland.
It also looked as if it got very muddy, although was drying out when I visited.
Not sure about the family element.
Yeah it probably is family friendly, but stay well away if it's been raining, as large parts of it become unrideable, pretty much.
It's ok for getting in a few gentle xc miles in and you can do as many laps as you want, with some sections of woodland to play around in.
OK great, thanks for the info.
Last time i was there which was about 2 years ago the guy in the shop was telling me that they intended to invest in some of the tracks to make them more all weather but i don't know if anything has been done yet or not. But as a family venue it has good potential, you can hire a barbeque and if you take your own bikes you can ride all day for £3 and there is nothing to scary for young kids.
I was wondering about DLP and just before I found this thread I also found Deers Leap Park Needs You.
Looks like they're doing quite a bit of work on it and have some plans to make it much better.
