Hey all. As the thread title really. The PPdS is drawing closer and I need to get a bike sorted. I've been looking for Kona Stinkys etc but can't find one going cheap in a size I reckon will suit me. I found one of these giants at Pauls Cycles and I'm inclined to think that I've found a winner.
So...anyone owned one of these? Worked in a shop that sells these? Been a mechanic that's worked on one of these? Anything I should be aware of before I buy...
My First Full Suspension Bike (shudder)
I had an 08 Glory 0, brown one, heavily reduced from Pauls cycles, marzocchi 66 slata's used to reduce travel as they went but a quick and easy fix sorted this. My only real negative was that it weighed more than a tank, a lot of bike for almost all applications, bombproof though!
Bombproof you say...this sounds good...I have a suspicion that there's going to be alot of 'unintentional dismounts' going on...
