I'm being shipped into Shropshire for work next week and have always meant to ride the Long Mynd. Is anyone up for a ride on Monday evening that could show me around? Normally I'd head out with a map but with it likely being dark I figure a bit of local knowledge would really help.

I can't help directly, but I believe Blazing Bikes in Church Stretton have a weekly shop ride each Wednesday evening, have seen it mentioned on their Twitter feed often.
There is a ride out of Church Stretton on a Monday night. I would give Plush Hill Cycles a call to confirm the time and meeting point, it used to be the Fire Station.
