I am using clarks brake pads on shimano saint and hope mono mini. really good, dont buy superstar brake pads though
I'm using clark pads at the moment with my Avids and they seem fine. Not tried any other makes so don't know how they compare to other manufacturers
Use clarks in my XTs and have done for a few yeArs now and love them.
I've been using the sintered ones from here

but I don't find the feel as good as the original avid pads and they can make a bit of a honking noise when used hard
