Any reason not to do 10 speed?

I just got the Deore 10sp Disc groupset from merlin.... works a treat, has really revived my bike.

All my bikes are 9, seems easier to keep one standard.

Don't think I'll be upgrading in a hurry to 10sp as for me it offers little if any improvement and just a narrower chain. I have 32 22 front with bash and 11 34 rear sprockets and suits me fine. If 9 speed stuff gets cheaper I'm stocking up too.

The chain on 10 speed is not narrower. And there's some tests on Bikerumor showing that that chains actually wear out more slowly.

Get a 10 speed set up from germany.
